Manchester Honors WWII Veterans
The Word War II Memorial will be located at Veterans Park in Manchester,
NH. It will be the newest addition to the park's war monuments and
markers. The center piece of the memorial will be an octagon bearing
the names of over 12,000 World War II service men and women from
Manchester. The monument will also include 4 "Pathways of Victory", 16
benches and several granite posts. Funding of the $175,000 memorial will
come from public and corporate donations.
Individuals and organizations wishing to donate to the memorial should
send their checks to the Manchester World War II Memorial Fund at 1 City
Hall Plaza, Manchester NH 03101.
